Last night I sat down with my guitar in an attempt to write down some of the handfuls of songs I’ve written and recorded on garage band. It’s funny, I found a 3 second section where I just strummed a chord and hummed and that alone inspired a whole song. Well, as of now I call it a whole song. It’s quite short, but songs are forever under revision so I’m content. I’m just glad I’m writing again.

“You poured out the rain on my weary soul.

You promised me that I’d never be alone.

You can scatter all the nations yet you hold my heart,

You are strong enough to save us, oh how beautiful you are.

Let your kingdom come, Let your heaven fall on us now.”
